ALX Resources Corp. (TSXV:AL, Not Rated, David A. Talbot) has acquired the Blackbird project consisting of 12 mineral claims located ~70km north of La Ronge in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The 11,628 ha project is located ~70km north of La Ronge and ~60km south of the historical Rottenstone Ni-Cu-Au-PGM mine. ~25km to the north of Blackbird, Ramp Metals Inc. (TSXV:RAMP, Not Rated) recently announced the drill discovery of high-grade gold mineralization of up to 73.55 g/t Au over 7.5m . Blackbird lies over a northeast-southwest high magnetic trend that lies parallel to the magnetic setting of the Rottenstone mine and Ramp Metals’ 2024 discovery hole. ALX plans to use remote sensing techniques to generate target areas where alteration minerals may be present and is applying for an exploration permit for airborne and ground geological and geophysical surveys in summer/fall 2024.
