Impact: Positive
Anfield Energy (AEC) has entered into a definitive agreement with Nedeel LLC & BBL-2 LLC to acquire 100% interests in the Marysvale and Calf Mesa uranium projects located in Beaver and Emery Counties, respectively, Utah. The company is expected to pay ~C$620k in total consideration for these projects. We believe both projects fall into Anfield’s longer-term term strategy of acquiring projects with potential to feed its nearby Shootaring Canyon mill – one of three licensed conventional uranium mills in the US. Meanwhile, its near-term strategy is focused on advancing its Velvet Wood, West Slope, and Slick Rock projects towards production. The mill could be production-ready as early as late-2024 or 2025, subject to financing (~mid-2023).
