Argentina Lithium reported results from the twelfth hole completed at its flagship Rincon West Li-brine project in Argentina. Samples collected over a 165m interval from hole RW-DDH-12 have returned grades ranging from 322 to 371 mg/L Li. While hole -12 was completed to a depth of ~340m, starting at ~200m it encountered volcanic rocks, suggesting that that the aquifer extends down to ~200m in this area. When compared to the results from the first two holes completed at the Rinconcita II concession (read notable), hole -12 encountered brines of similar grade but over a shorter interval and till shallower depths. The next hole, -13, is planned to be a ~1,000m step-out towards the NE corner of the property block. Results from three more holes from this Phase 2 program, as well as brine recovery test results, are pending. These results demonstrate the presence of a continuous aquifer that extends from the Villanoveño II concession, eastwards towards the main salar, and Rio Tinto’s (LSE:RIO, Not Rated) Rincon project. Once Phase 2 drilling is complete, pump tests to determine flow rates are planned, followed by a maiden mineral resource estimate (H2/24).
