Aston Minerals has commenced metallurgical testing, which will lead into a scoping study for its 100%-owned Edleston Ni project, near Timmins, Ontario. Corem and Ausenco have been appointed to conduct the program, which will involve locked cycle tests focusing on key parameters that define metallurgical recovery and nickel concentrate grade. The program will include testing of comminution and flotation and an analysis of the inputs for cut-off grade determination and a basis for further economic analysis on over 1.5t of core samples representing a broad range of mineralization at the Boomerang Ni-Co deposit, which hosts 6.1M lb NiEq in total resources (read note). Initial tests on a 30kg sample from the Bardwell area yielded positive results, with good recoveries and a saleable concentrate (read notable). The flowsheet development will feed into a scoping study, the publication of which is anticipated in Q4/23. Meanwhile, we look forward to the assays from the ongoing drill program at the B2 zone at the northern end of the project (read notable).
