Aura Minerals Inc. (TSX:ORA, BUY, C$21.00 target, Taylor Combaluzier) has been ranked number one on the TSX30 2022 list for the second year in a row. The ranking includes 30 stocks with the best performance on the TSX in the last three years and looks at share price appreciation adjusted by dividends. Aura led the ranking as a result of a 683% share appreciation over the period. Aura is a mid-tier gold producer expected to produce ~250k oz AuEq in 2022 from its operations in Brazil, Honduras and Mexico. The company is also in the midst of acquiring the Borborema Au project and advancing its Almas project towards production next year, adding to its portfolio of operating mines and projects in Brazil.
