Impact: Very Positive
Brunswick provided results from the initial 13 holes of its 36-hole (5,000m) drill program, completed at its Mirage Li-pegmatite project in the James Bay region of Quebec. Drilling outlined four, major high-grade spodumene-bearing pegmatites in three NE-SW trending zones, all of which start at surface and cover an area of 4 sq. km. Highlights included intersections of up to 2.57% Li2O over 25.8m (MR-23-02). We are impressed with the initial assays as it has confirmed the presence of large, high-grade, shallow mineralization at Mirage. We believe drilling could just be scratching the surface as these pegmatites remain open in all directions. There is a 3km boulder trend to the SW and additional pegmatite outcrops ~3km to the NE that remain untested.
