Impact: Mildly Positive
Canada Nickel announced a successful Phase I metallurgical test program with respect to its 100%-owned, Crawford sulphide nickel-cobalt project near Timmins, Ontario. This phase of testing was intended to confirm the initial flowsheet design, which resulted in favourable nickel, and iron recoveries from two locked cycle tests. In our view, Crawford is shaping up to become a world-class, district-scale deposit in one of the best mining jurisdictions globally. With Phase I complete, we expect the company to be able to focus on delivering a PEA for Crawford in the near-term.
