Churchill Resources Inc. (TSXV:CRI, Not Rated, Timothy Lee) announced the appointment of Mr. Malik Easah as Director and of Mr. Bill Fisher as Chairman to its Board of Directors. Mr. Fisher, who was already a Director of Churchill, is a geologist with over four decades of experience in the mining industry with a proven record of discovery and development across the world. His past roles include CEO of GoldQuest Mining Corp. (TSXV:GQC, Not Rated) and as Chairman of Aurelian Resources, which was sold to Kinross Gold (TSX:K, Not Rated). Mr. Easah has >15 years of exploration, mining and project development experience, and resides in Accra, Ghana. He was a founder and Director of Cardinal Resources Ltd., which was acquired by Shandong Gold Co. (SHSE:600547, Not Rated) for ~A$600M, after the discovery of the 7M oz Au Namdini project in northern Ghana. He is currently Executive Chairman of Asante Gold Corp. (CSE:ASE, Not Rated). We view the addition of these veterans of multiple successful discoveries and transactions to Churchill’s board positively and look forward to results from the recently commenced 5,000m drill program at the Taylor Brook Ni-Co-Cu project (read notable).
