Impact: Slightly Positive
E-Power has announced the mobilization of a drill rig for its initial 3,000m program at its flagship Tetepisca graphite project. E-Power is the largest landholder with 12,620 ha in the Tetepisca Graphite District, a top tier mining and exploration jurisdiction within the North Shore region of Quebec. The regional also hosts deposits being developed by Mason Graphite (TSXV:LLG, Not Rated), Focus Graphite (TSXV:FMS, Not Rated), and Green Battery Minerals (TSXV:GEM, Not Rated). Drilling is expected to test three or four of the five key targets that were identified through groundwork and VTEM surveys. Graphite is relatively simple to find using geophysics and E-Power seeks to test conductivity highs and coincident magnetic lows it has found. The goal of these drill programs is to delineate a graphite resource on the property and demonstrate its suitability for use in the EV batteries. We believe E-Power’s large land package in a prospective district with favourable geophysics and high-grade drill-ready targets positions it well for success amongst other deposits. In our view, this drill program could be the initial spark needed by this newly listed company to gain attention from the market.
