Impact: Neutral to Mildly Positive
E3 Lithium outlined plans for its 100%-owned Clearwater Li brine project in Alberta for 2024. Focus remains on the completion of the PFS, targeted for late Q2/24, contingent on the timely receipt of engineering packages from vendors. The PFS is to include a maiden reserve estimate as well as the full design for the commercial facility, to a level of detail that will enable the company to begin working on the FS. Publication of the PFS should also positively impact ongoing offtake discussions and permitting process, which is expected to continue through the year. Other major milestones for Clearwater are to select the EPC contractor, complete environmental and wildlife surveys, and prepare regulatory applications for approval. Exploration and evaluation of the Nisku aquifer (read notable) across the Clearwater permit area, the Leduc aquifer in the Exshaw and Rocky areas, and the Saskatchewan properties (read notable) are also planned in 2024. With a strong balance sheet we believe E3 is well positioned to implement its plans for this year, and look forward to the PFS in Q2/24.
