E3 Lithium Ltd. (TSXV:ETL, BUY, C$13.00 target, Alina Islam and David A. Talbot) announced that it has collaborated with McMaster University and the University of Alberta on their research projects on critical minerals, which are being funded by the NSERC. McMaster University is developing enhanced recovery mechanisms to maintain and improve lithium concentrations in subsurface brines extracted during reservoir production. The University of Alberta is developing methods to produce high-quality graphite from natural sources to enhance the charging speeds of Li-ion batteries. E3 is supporting these projects by providing advisory services and resources, and is expected to incorporate any findings for the development and commercialization of its 100%-owned Clearwater Li-brine project in Alberta. Meanwhile, we look forward to the upcoming PFS (late Q2/24) for Clearwater, which is expected to include a maiden reserve estimate and details on downstream refining flowsheets (read notable).
