Equity Metals Corp. (TSXV:EQTY, Not Rated, Timothy Lee) reported assays from two holes from the Spring 2023 drill program at its 100%-owned Silver Queen Ag-Au project in central British Columbia (map). The holes focused on the Camp Vein target and encountered the target vein, with hole SQ23-080 also encountering shallow mineralization in the hanging wall to the north of the main vein system, similar to the shallow mineralization previously reported from SQ23-079 (read more). Highlights include: 1) 964 g/t AgEq over 1.7m, including 1,971 g/t AgEq over 0.8m (SQ23-080) and 2) 641 g/t AgEq over 0.5m (SQ23-079) (all intervals are reported as estimated true thickness). These intercepts were within one of the southern-most veins in the system, and they represent a 270m down-dip and a 140m lateral step-out from previous drilling. The intercept in hole -080 is the deepest high-grade intercept identified in the Camp/Sveinson vein system to date. Nine holes (4,038m) were completed in the Spring 2023 drill program, testing the westward strike extensions of the Camp target and a drilling gap within the Sveinson target (map). Pending assays from seven more holes are expected in the coming weeks. A short surface soil sampling program is underway on the property, and drilling is set to resume mid-June to test the George and Cole Lake vein targets. These two targets have been partially tested by historical drilling but are not included in the current resource estimate. The Silver Queen project already hosts +1Moz AuEq I&I resources (read more) further positive drill results on the Camp and Sveinson targets, as well as George and Cole Lake, would expand the project’s resource base.
