Ethos Gold Corp. (TSXV:ECC, Not Rated, Taylor Combaluzier) provided initial channel sampling results from the Quinlan and Titan showings, part of the Toogood property in Newfoundland, where the company has the option to earn a 100%-interest in the project. At Titan, a 40m by 10m wide mineralized zone has been identified, which is open along strike and at depth. A total of 50 samples were taken across five channels with assays returning 37.14 g/t Au over 0.8m, 7.0 g/t Au over 0.6m, 5.89 g/t Au over 3.2m, 4.33 g/t Au over 0.5m, 5.03 g/t Au over 0.5m and 7.25 g/t Au over 0.5m. At Quinlan, a 200m by 15m wide mineralized zone was identified which is open at depth. A total of 59 samples were taken across seven channels with assays returning 10.98 g/t Au over 3.45m, 7.64 g/t Au over 4.05m, 6.83 g/t Au over 1.79m, 1.84 g/t Au over 3.36m, 1.86 g/t Au over 1.5m, 0.76 g/t Au over 1.62m, and 1.58 g/t Au over 1.6m. Both Titan and Quinlan contain discrete mineralized structural corridors characterized by strong quartz vein and fracture densities, as well as broad alteration haloes (important conduits for Au mineralization). Grab sampling was also conducted at the Sherwood prospect located 1.6km SE of Quinlan with assays pending. Additionally, property-wide prospecting identified three new prospects requiring follow-up work: Koho, Northland and Bauer. Looking ahead at 2022, Ethos plans to conduct ground IP and drilling (2,500m expected to commence in May) at both Quinlan and Titan to test the width and extent of mineralization along strike and at depth. In our view, the initial fieldwork program has successfully identified numerous zones of Au mineralization and we look forward to the initial drill program at the Titan and Quinlan showings. Ethos, part of the Discovery Group, is led by a team that has a depth of technical expertise to quickly and efficiently explore a project to make a potential discovery. Read more
