Impact: Positive
Fathom Nickel reported visual observations from four holes completed from the ongoing drill program at its 100%-owned Gochager Lake Ni project in Saskatchewan. The drilling tested for extensions of mineralization beyond the historic deposit and all four holes encountered visible sulphide mineralization within the target gabbro rock unit. The results of drilling and down-hole electromagnetic surveys (BHEM) indicate that a new high-grade chute has been intersected and that the deposit has potential to extend along-strike and at depth. Completion of the ongoing drilling is planned for mid-April, with assays anticipated by the end of May. While assays remain pending, these visual observations are encouraging, as they encountered semi-massive and massive sulphides in areas beyond previous drilling, including the deepest mineralization yet encountered at Gochager Lake.
