Japan Gold Corp. (TSXV:JG, BUY, C$1.00 target, Timothy Lee) announced it has expanded its Togi Au-Ag project on Honshu Island, Japan, through the acceptance of 51 new prospecting rights applications covering an additional ~14,500 ha. With this acquisition, the project now encompasses ~18,470 ha of prospective ground. Togi represents one of 29 projects that comprise the Barrick Alliance – a strategic alliance between Japan Gold and Barrick Gold (TSX:ABX, Not Rated), whereby Barrick is funding exploration at these projects as part of an earn-in and JV agreement.
