Karora Resources Inc. (TSX:KRR, TENDER, C$6.30 target, David A. Talbot) announced that its shareholders have voted to approve the proposed merger with Westgold Resources Ltd. (ASX:WGX, Not Rated), with 99% of votes cast in favour of the arrangement (read note). Westgold also confirmed that it has received approval from the government of Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB). The shareholder and FIRB approvals represent two significant milestones toward the closing of the transaction, which is targeted for completion on or about 31 July, 2024. Read more
