Impact: Mildly Positive
Kootenay announced results from an additional three holes completed as a part of the ongoing 3,000m (12–15-hole) drill program at its 100%-owned Columba project in Chihuahua, Mexico. Continuing systematically southeast from the first three holes (read note), these holes tested at depth along the northwestern and central sections of the D-Vein. All three encountered wide intervals of predominantly Ag mineralization, with highlights of 208 g/t Ag, 0.21 % Pb, 0.46 % Zn over 29m, incl. 1142 g/t Ag, 0.1 g/t Au, 0.9 % Pb, 2.5 % Zn over 2.37m (CDH-23-141) and 152 g/t Ag, 0.2 % Pb, 0.4 % Zn over 10.1m incl. 745 g/t Ag, 0.8 % Pb, 1.3 % Zn over 0.58m (CDH-23-140). Overall, we believe these are positive results as the company works towards delineating a maiden resource at Columba. Multiple main veins remain open in all directions over a 3×4 km area (strike measures up to 4km in length). We see district scale potential here with lots of room to grow known mineralization
