Lake Resources announced it has produced 2,500kg LCE at its now 80%-owned, Kachi Li brine project in Argentina. This milestone was achieved through a continuous collaboration with its DLE technology partner, Lilac Solutions, which has now increased its ownership in Kachi from 10% to 20%. Both parties are developing the Kachi project with a goal of achieving a 50,000 tpa LCE production rate, using faster and new environmentally friendly DLE methods. Lilac can acquire an additional 5% interest by achieving the highest agreed qualification with certain off-takers. With A$133M in cash, a new management team, working technology, expressions of interest to fund project debt, and strategic off-takers, Lilac and Lake are well set to move this project forward together, perhaps helping to quell some skepticism of both the technology and desire of these companies to work together.
