Orex Minerals Inc. (TSXV:REX, BUY (S), Taylor Combaluzier) has appointed Mr. Adam Cegielski as independent chair of its board of directors. This appointment follows the resignation of Mr. David Gunning as director. Mr. Cegelski has over 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry. He was the founding director of Cayden Resources, which was sold to Agnico Eagle Mines (NYSE:AEM, Not Rated) for $205M, and was CEO and director of Gold Line Resources, acquired by First Nordic Metals (TSXV:FNM, Not Rated). We believe his previous experience in leading exploration companies should benefit Orex as it advances its recently acquired Valenciana project and its other joint ventured projects in Mexico.
