Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (CSE:PMET, Not Rated, David A. Talbot) has re-mobilized drill crews to commence a summer/fall drilling and surface exploration program at its 100%-owned, Corvette project located in Quebec. After a very successful winter drilling program (read more) which significantly expanded the mineralized pegmatite along strike and at depth, the next phase of drilling at the project is highly anticipated. The summer/fall program is expected to consist of 15,000m of core drilling and to focus on delineating the main spodumene pegmatite within the >2km-long, CV5-1 corridor, as the zone remains open along strike and at depth, and includes testing of the CV6, CV5, CV11, CV2, CV1, CV4, and CV7 pegmatite outcrops. Drilling will commence with two rigs initially with a third rig expected to be added by mid-July. Surface exploration is expected to begin in mid-June with detailed outcrop mapping to be conducted across the property (CV1 to CV12). Prospecting will also be completed on the new claim blocks recently acquired by the company, which contain pegmatite outcrops but have not been assessed for lithium mineralization. Read more
