Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE:RFR, Not Rated, Timothy Lee) announced the commencement of the 2022 field season at its ~260km2 Surimeau project, with a list of targets and particular emphasis on lithium mineralization present on the property. Wide ranging ground exploration is expected to be carried out this summer while the recently completed geophysical survey is undergoing further interpretation. Upon completion, the company is planning to initiate a 10,000-20,000m drill program on the Victoria trend, which is expected to be carried out in Fall 2022. Specific targets for the 2022 field season include: 1) mapping and drone photography of the 275m strike stripped area, 2) inspection of core from the 2021 drilling at Surimeau which provided Li values of more than 250ppm, 3) prospecting the extent of the ~20km mineralized Victoria structure which is proven to be mineralized at its western and eastern end, 4) exploring known lithium and pegmatite occurrences at Surimeau, including at Colonie where surface samples yielded 191 ppm Li, 5) following up on various geochemical anomalies available on SIGEOM and determining if they are pegmatites and/or REE occurrences, and 6) uranium exploration toward the southern end of Surimeau near an area that was previously bulk sampled. Previous grab sampling results from other targets on the property, specifically the Huston target, have returned results grading 1.9% Ni, 1.38% Cu, 1170 ppm Co and 4 g/t Ag, while others including the Lalonde, Surimeau and Colonie targets are polymetallic mineralized occurrences.
