We recently travelled to Minas Gerais, Brazil, to visit Sigma Lithium’s 100%-owned, Grota do Cirilo project, where construction is well underway. The project hosts the largest hard-rock lithium resource in the Americas comprising ~3Mt LCE, and our visit reaffirmed our view that this resource has plenty of room to grow. We believe Sigma is advancing a world-class project that is on track for initial Phase 1 production next month. Phase 1 is just the start; once Phase 3 is in production, Grota do Cirilo would become the 4th largest Li producer with the 2nd lowest costs and 3rd highest grades.
