SKRR Exploration Inc. (TSXV:SKRR, Not Rated, Timothy Lee) has completed a 10-hole drilling program at its flagship Olson Au project in Saskatchewan, where the company is earning a 75% interest in the property over a three-year period from Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSXV:EPL, Not Rated). While assays remain pending, the company does highlight that visual observation from all holes suggests that drilling has intersected quartz veining and arsenopyrite bearing zones. We would highlight that visual observation does not necessarily correlate to gold grade but suggests that drilling has encountered the right structures. Management also highlighted that given the recent interest in the battery metals space, it plans to review exploration possibilities for its Watts Lake zinc-silver and Father Lake nickel properties also located in Saskatchewan. The 13,708 ha Watts Lake property, which was recently acquired (read more), covers multiple, parallel basement conductive corridors including the entire 14km-long historic, Borys Lake conductive corridor, while the Father Lake property covers 12km of a prospective geological trend including the 3km-long norite sill that is host to the Dumas, A, B, C and D Ni-Cu showings.
