Solis has reported that it has intersected spodumene bearing pegmatite in two of the three drill holes completed as a part of its ~2,500m maiden drill program at its recently optioned, Jaguar Li project in Brazil. Holes JADDH00002 and JADDH00003, both intersected broad intervals of a shallow dipping pegmatite including ~8m of spodumene rich core, below existing artisanal workings; hole JADDH00001 did not intercept the core. An additional three holes are planned as part of the current 2,500m program, testing the strike, depth and thickness of the Jaguar pegmatite system, which had previously been traced for at least 1.4km along strike and with a central core in excess of 800m. Previous sampling results have returned up to 4.95% Li2O. While assays are still pending and expected by the end of August, these are early indications of a classic LCT bearing pegmatite system and are highly encouraging. Based on these observations, management is planning to complete an additional 5,000m program once this phase has been completed.
