Standard Uranium Ltd. (TSXV:STND, BUY (S), David A. Talbot) announced it has acquired by staking three 100%-owned uranium exploration properties in the Athabasca Basin. With the addition of Cable Bay Southwest, Ox Lake and Brown Lake, Standard has now increased its ownership interest to ten projects, totaling +196,300 acres across the Athabasca Basin. The projects host several kilometers of untested conductor and are located in proximity to historical uranium showings, such as the Key Lake mill, as well as other favourable infrastructure in the eastern Athabasca Basin. Additionally, the company noted that it continues to seek strategic partners to advance its non-core projects.
