Strathmore Plus Uranium (SUU) reported initial drill results from two newly identified uranium roll fronts at its Beaver Rim uranium ISR project in the Gas Hills uranium district of Wyoming. The goal of this program was to test the geological model for the property, seeking roll front mineralization. Four early-stage holes were drilled with two returning mineralization at about 1,100m feet depth. Highlights include: 1) 0.042% eU3O8 over 7.5 ft (BR-03-24), and 2) 0.024% eU3O8 over 4.5 ft (BR-01-24). These holes occur 1-3 miles south of Cameco’s (TSX:COO, Not Rated) fully permitted Gas Hills project. This project in the Gas Hills of WY is another pipeline project for Strathmore as it focuses on expanding mineralization and preparing for a resource estimate at Agate in the Shirley Basin. In our view, the program was a success as sediments were found below Beaver Rim that are likely correlated to the adjacent Gas Hills project. The sediments act as a passageway to transport uranium across the property and the sediments are suitable for uranium deposition. This shows that the project is deserving of further exploration and work is expected to continue in 2025, including further work on the Diamond group where previous drilling by Strathmore identified stacked roll front mineralization in 2012.
