Strathmore Plus Uranium Corp. (TSXV:SUU, Not Rated, David A. Talbot) has applied for permits to drill on its 100%-owned Night Owl project in Wyoming. The exploration plan includes 30 drill sites and ~914m of drilling, with a focus to expand areas of known uranium mineralization that Night Owl produced from in the 1960s. Strathmore believes that its near-surface, airborne radiometric and magnetic surveys, coupled with a ground-gravity survey, have provided new targets that should result in the company getting the mine back into production. Completion of the survey is scheduled for completion in early summer 2022, and will include the 54 new claims (640 acres) acquired in late 2022 (read more). Upon receipt of the exploration permit, Strathmore expects to drill and collect samples for assaying and downhole geophysical data across acres of higher radioactivity based on the airborne survey.
