Strathmore Plus Uranium Corp. (TSXV:SUU, Not Rated, David A. Talbot) announced that it has received the drill permit to undertake up to 10,000 feet of exploratory drilling at its Beaver Rim uranium ISR project in the Gas Hills uranium district of Wyoming. Beaver Rim is located adjacent to and south of Cameco’s (TSX:CCO, Not Rated) Gas Hills ISR project. Previous drilling at the project encountered stacked roll fronts at the West Diamond claim group at depths of 700 to 1,000 feet. We believe Beaver Rim’s proximity to other proven deposits and its previously identified prospectivity provides blue sky exploration potential. Any drilling success at the project could add significant value to Strathmore’s portfolio in Wyoming. Meanwhile, we look forward to fall drilling and a mineral resource estimate at its Agate project, where the initial 100-hole drill program discovered mineralization in the Middle Sand horizon of the Wind River formation (read notable).
