Strickland Metals Ltd. (ASX:STK, Not Rated, Taylor Combaluzier) has commenced a new phase of diamond drilling (10,000m) at the Gradina prospect within its 100%-owned Rogonza project in Serbia. High-grade gold mineralization was previously delineated at Gradina over ~1km of strike and at a vertical depth of ~200m-1,000m below surface. The previous set of drilling (~21,000m) has returned significant intercepts to date, including: 1) 5.1 g/t Au over 27.5m (ZRSD20124), 2) 6.8 g/t Au over 32.0m (EOKSC1361b), and 3) 4.0 g/t Au over 22m (ZRSD21143). Given the amount of high-grade gold mineralization defined to date, Gradina represents a high-priority target for further delineation with an initial mineral resource estimate expected in the near term. Four drill rigs are currently operating across the property and assays are pending for multiple holes. As mentioned in our most recent note and site visit report, we believe that the JORC resource of 5.4M oz AuEq at Rogozna could grow substantially from optimizing the current resource, extending known mineralization along with the potential discovery of new deposits.
