Impact: Mildly Positive
Sun Summit provided assays from the final four holes of its 13-hole (~3,738m) drill program completed at the Buck Main zone, part of its 100%-controlled Buck polymetallic project in BC. The four holes were completed in areas that were previously untested and have confirmed the continuity of near-surface, gold, silver and zinc mineralization at the zone. Highlight intercepts include: 1) 0.79 g/t AuEq over 41.5m including 1.45 g/t AuEq over 15.0m (BK23-095), and 2) 0.84 g/t AuEq over 39.0m including 1.89 g/t AuEq over 12.3m (BK23-096). Combined with previous results (read notable), these results have extended the Buck Main zone to over 1.1km in strike length, 700m in width and 600m in depth. The four holes are to be included in the upcoming maiden mineral resource estimate in Q1/24. Per our mineral inventory estimate we believe that the Buck Main zone has the potential to host ~470k AuEq ounces. We also wait on upcoming exploration plans for the large Buck project (~52,000 ha) which hosts multiple targets, including a new, potential copper porphyry target close to the CR South zone (read notable).
