Impact: Positive
Tempus Resources (TMRR) reported assays from five final holes of the 28-hole 2021 drill program at its 100%-owned Blackdome-Elizabeth gold project in southern British Columbia. Two of these holes contained high-grade Au intersections from the Blue vein, initially discovered in September 2021. Meanwhile, two additional holes tested the undrilled portion of the SW vein, and the other hole tested the Ella zone. Going forward, drilling in 2022 will focus largely on further testing the Blue vein along strike to the northeast and down-dip. Overall, we believe these results are positive as they continue to delineate the recently discovered Blue vein. The wide step-out hole (EZ-21-20) did not encounter mineralization, but it does help define the extent of the SW vein. Additionally, we believe the exploration hole targeting the Ella zone is a positive result. Although the grade was on the lower end, it is an encouraging result for this first hole to encounter an Au-bearing vein in this underexplored area and is ultimately worthy of follow-up.
