US Gold Corp. (NASDAQ:USAU, Not Rated, Taylor Combaluzier) reported the final three assays from its 2021 drilling program at its 100%-owned CK Gold project in Wyoming. 2021 drilling was largely designed to support feasibility study level hydrology and geotechnical studies, with the last three holes designed largely as hydrology holes. Highlights included: 1) 0.688 g/t AuEq (0.397 g/t Au, 0.202% Cu, and 1.13 g/t Ag) over 255.4m (CK21-04c), 2) 0.368 g/t AuEq (0.254 g/t Au, 0.074% Cu, and 1.23 g/t Ag) over 37.8m (CK21-05c) and 3) 0.715 g/t AuEq (0.319 g/t Au, 0.227% Cu, and 0.97 g/t Ag) over 34.1m (CK21-08c). Hole 04c confirmed results from 2021 drilling, which intercepted mineral resource expansion potential immediately south and below the proposed open pit. Results from drilling continue to extend mineralization beyond the PFS resource estimate and management believes an increase in mineral resources is likely. US Gold is continuing to advance the permit to mine application and plans to design a follow up drill program. The company also reported that internationally acclaimed geologist, Dr. Richard Sillitoe recently completed a 3-day site visit. Dr. Sillitoe confirmed previous geologic examinations that theorized the project’s gold and copper mineralization was derived from a porphyritic granodiorite intrusion, with multiple expansion opportunities at depth, to the SE, and potentially in undiscovered porphyry intrusions.
