ValOre Metals Corp. (TSXV:VO, Not Rated, David A. Talbot) provided an update on metallurgical testing underway at its 100%-owned Pedra Branca PGE project in Brazil. Four core holes (332m) were drilled, logged, sampled and assayed at the Cedro PGE deposit to support the ongoing metallurgical testwork. All four holes confirmed anticipated geology and returned consistent PGE mineralization including 1.18 g/t 2PGE+Au over 53m from surface (DD21CD24A) and 0.90 g/t 2PGE+Au over 62m (DD21CS05A). While these grades are at or slightly lower than the average resource grades, thickness is excellent and representative of the evolution of these deposits. In total 14 holes (922m) were completed for the testwork program, including 6 holes at Esbarro and 4 holes at Curiu. Core from the Trapia and Santo Amaro deposits will be sourced from 2020 and 2021 resource drill holes. Preliminary results from the met program on the Curiu deposit are expected in Feb/22. Furthermore, based on drilling programs undertaken in 2021, we expect a robust resource estimate update on Pedra Branca in Q1/22. Read more
