Vizsla Copper announced results from a soil geochemistry survey at the Poplar South target area of its 100%-owned Poplar project in central BC. The 1,370-sample survey targeted a 4.6km long portion of a strong alteration zone that is considered prospective for porphyry Au-Cu mineralization under glacial till. Strong coincident Cu, Mo and Ag responses were identified over the main area of interest . The main Cu-in-soil anomaly measures ~1,200m × 800m and returned up to 0.12% Cu and coincides with a magnetic and conductive low. These soil geochemistry anomalies overlap anomalies from previous alteration mapping, airborne geophysical surveys and historical drilling, reinforcing South Poplar’s prospectivity for porphyry gold-copper mineralization. A DCIP survey is currently underway to refine the plan for a drill program slated for H1/25. Meanwhile, we look forward to results from the summer drill program at Vizsla’s flagship Woodjam project (read notable).
