E-Power Resources Inc. (CSE:EPR, Not Rated, Alina Islam) announced that it has issued the first tranche of 1.6M shares to Volt Carbon (TSXV:VCT, Not Rated), as part of the previously announced agreement under which Volt is earning up to a 5% interest in E-Power’s flagship Tetepisca graphite project in Quebec (read notable). E-Power is expected to issue an additional 5M shares to Volt in two tranches in exchange for C$680k in exploration expenditures and C$1.5M in cash. All exploration expenditures are planned to be incurred in 2024, which we believe can significantly build upon encouraging drill results from the Phase 1 drill program (read notable). We believe this agreement allows E-Power to advance Tetepisca with the expertise of a technology and battery manufacturing partner, while still maintaining a significant 95% interest in the project.
