ATHA Energy Corp. announced plans for its 2024 exploration programs at the Angilak project in Nunavut and across its large project portfolio in the Athabasca Basin.ATHA’s growth strategy is to focus on a combination deposit and discovery expansion at Angilak and the Gemini project, advanced drill exploration in parts of the Athabasca and Thelon Basins and at Angilak and greenfield exploration across its entire land package. We note that this would be the most significant exploration program conducted by ATHA to date, with a massive 2024 exploration budget of ~C$30M, a scope including drilling by the company for the first time and a scale encompassing a sizeable chunk of its extensive portfolio, which expanded recently with the closing of the acquisition of Latitude Uranium (read notable).
