He brings extensive experience in advocacy for and regulation of the mining industry in Wyoming. Mr. Loomis has worked for the Wyoming Mining Association for over 38 years, including as the Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director. Notably, he was involved in collaborating with the Wyoming Governor’s office, legislature and several mining companies to reduce the Wyoming state mineral severance tax on uranium from 41% to 0% in 1989.
